What are you eating/doing today? (Friday)
Morning all :)
Gorgeous morning! Would love to be sitting out back enjoying my cawfee!
Working then off for the weekend - yay!
RNY 5+ years - maintenance
B - coffee with milk x2, 21g cheddar, 2 triscuits
S - protein shake, a few cherries
L - tuna wrap with lots of veggies
S - tea, small peach
D - not too sure! I think we're going out if Joe gets off work at a decent hour - feel like I haven't seen him all week as I'm in bed by the time he gets home! Dinner out would be spinach salad with grilled chicken
Have a fabulous Friday everyone! :)

L - out, some poutine and probably some homemade soup
S - plum
D - BBQ pork chop, grilled asparagus
S - some chocolate covered almonds, just 5 though

Morning
Hi Karen and Tracey....sounds like a good day for both of you
Going to switch my food up a bit - more in the morning to see if I can figure out the R/H
B - oatmeal
s - few bites of chicken/walnut and grape salad
l - having my nephew's for lunch so grilled cheese sandwiches and choc sundaes for them....I will have 1/2 grilled cheese and some berries for dessert
s - more chicken salad
d - more chicken salad
That should give me over 100 grams of protein without a shake
All water and vits
Have a great one
Barb
HI Barb,
I didn't realize that you were having difficulties with RH. I hope the switch up gives you some relief.

Just got back from my 7k run. Sometimes I had to say, just do this next interval then you can walk, but I did all my intervals without stopping. I had to get back to serious 10k training, so now the 8 minute intervals are just over the half way mark.
B- blueberry, raspberry protein shake
S- 1/2 apple and laughing cow
L- salad with cheese, sunflower seeds, almonds
S- peanut butter on ryvita
D- hamburger something, depends on how hot it is if I bbq or stir up hash
11 months out from surgery

7K is awesome Liz! Question: when you started running, did you do the couch to 5 or any other program to get you started?

Hi Karen, I did start with the couch to 5k program, then started on the Freeway to 10k training via iTunes podcasts and then had some trouble keeping it up this summer. I was out every other day other than 2 weeks but I really felt out of sorts. I'm so glad to be feeling back into it.
I'm hoping I can get to the 10k and keep that up every other day. It all goes towards my challenge, so getting up to 10k is important.

I admire all of you "runners"! Good for you.
My dad had his own interval training program - run one street light, walk the next, run 2 street lights, walk one, etc etc etc. LOL Worked for him, perhaps I'll give it a go.
