I should mention that it was about 35 years ago that he "made that up". lol  The man is 78 years old, walks at least 15K per day and up until a few years ago, was sprinting the track at the local high school.  We should all be so lucky!  (and fit!) lol

A little frustrated with a stall just recently ... I know it'll snap in a few days, it always does.

Yeah - and it's difficult to get into the habit at first.   My solution:  pack all vites the night before in their carrier and place in lunch bag before going to bed.  Otherwise I know I would be forgetting them too.

This might sound "obsessive", but I sometimes pack my vitamins in little containers and have them in the middle of the counter so I can just grab them on my way out the door.

I think I forgot one time to take my vitamins since surgery but not since. ;)

Not obsessive at all - hence my post about packing the night before AND putting the "suitcase 'o vites" in my lunch bag before bed. LOL

Good morning all,

Having a lazy dazy morning.  Infact, I woke up to the girlies saying "Mommy, are you going to wake up yet??"  Had a pretty busy day yesterday: Wonderland with the kids (10am-5pm), then after dinner, did a 5k rum around my neighbourhood.  Was feeling so re-energized after that that I couldn't sleep so I was up till 2am reading.  So, yeah, the kids had to scrape me off the sheets this morning! todays plan is to walk to the park, clean house, and maybe another run in the evening- might even let the kids tag along on their bikes, provided hubby will supervise.

B- iced coffee (did a pj run since I botched the muffin recipe for the kids, and had such a craving for iced coffee),  later Kellogg's Protein Plus Cereal

S- Emerald's cocoa roasted almonds (1 serving), then protein shake

L- spinach salad with a small handful of craisins, a few slices of pear, and bacon crumbled ontop

S- cheddar cheese (30 g), small peach

D- oven roast chicken and veggies

S- not sure but probably some kind of veggie or fruit

I can finally post in this thread!!

B: 1/2 protein shake & 1/2 poached egg (1st & last since surgery- I don't like eggs anymore - they used to be my fave food)

S: Yogurt, 1/2 protein shake

L: Chicken Drumstick (slow cooked, no skin)

S: Yogurt, 1/2 protein shake

D: Chicken Drumstick (slow cooked, no skin)

I haven't listed any veggies but I'll likely add broccoli to lunch & dinner.

Your menu looks great, SImona, good for you.

As for eggs - *sigh* - eggs and I officially broke up for over 4 years after my surgery.  We've just recently started talking again. lol
