Anyone opt to self pay?

I am trying to get approval for VSG and finally have my surgeon's appointment tomorrow.  If I don't get approval I am going to Dr. Gagner in Montreal.  I have many valid medical reasons for requesting the VSG and I have a BMI of 40.  You'll hear my scream some time around lunch tomorrow if I get approved.
