What are you eating/doing today? (Wednesday)
Morning all :)
What to do today.... what to do.... oh yeah. Work. Still feeling cruddy on new meds - force feeding really cramps my style. lol
The plan for today barring any pukey incidents:
B - coffee with milk x 2, protein shake
S - 21g cheddar, 2 melba rounds, 1/2 banana
L - tuna sammich with veggies, hold the bread
S - other 1/2 of banana, tea
D - meat/veggie sauce, 1/4 cup pasta, parmesan

My plans for today are SFA. My get up and go has got up and left and I don't have the energy to chase it so it's going to be a very quiet day here. Your new meds make you pukey and mine make me lethargic, gotta love new meds.
B- smoked salmon, cream cheese and scallions in a flatout wrap
S - orange
L - leftover grilled chicken, quinoa/mango/avocado salad
S - greek yogurt with some stewed plums thrown in
D - fresh pike, grilled asparagus

I posted it on the recipe board but it's just fresh lime juice, a bit of olive oil and some cumin. And definitely use the black quinoa if you can find it. It's very different in taste and texture to the white and red. It's much nuttier tasting.

Can't seem to find the black quinoa, only red. Maybe I'll run across to Bulk Barn at lunch and see if they have it.

Sorry you're still feeling cruddy on your meds, Karen. Force feeding really does suck. Hope things smooth out for you :)
No big plans for the day, just an appt...but that will take up a few hours...in waiting..but im sure the appointment itself will only be 2 minutes :P

S - protein bar
Su - chicken (not sure how I will cook it yet), salad, veg
S - protein shake or nsa pudding/jello

Grrr... I know what you mean about waiting forever for a 2 minute appointment - makes me crazy! My old GP was terrible for that. At LEAST an hour wait past your appointment time. My new GP, on the other hand, has taken me early each time I've seen her! I heart her.
