Why Can't They Understand
in self serve establishments or in a buffet you can take whatever you need, often in a pre-serving size, it would also mess up the kitchens count when portioning out sizes specific to someone's needs...when they cook for 200...that means they know pretty much exactly how much goes into what pan and how large the servings will be
although I can sympathize with you on a certain level...I would have just scraped off the extra or asked someone if they wanted it.
I think flexibility on our part is necessary...remember we are probably the minority in asking for such a request...
I didn't havea look at how far post op you are..but at almost 3 years post-op..I have learned how to deal with things like this....as time goes on we become better at making choices and allowances that suit our needs..
