Nuts????
i was advised by the nut in guelph to wait till 6months out or later and to eat them sparingly as they are very high in fat. i have since found roasted edamame & chick peas at the superstore bulk bin area which are both high in protein and a lot lower in fat then nuts. chew chew chew any nut you do consume though - getting things stuck sucks.
debi.,
at least 3-4 months post-op...you don;t want any tiny fragments getting stuck somewhere.
and when you do try and eat just a few and then wait.......and then next time add a couple more.
Nuts are dry and don;t always go down well or sit well in a pouch..so go slow~! and enjoy
