4 Month Surgerversary
I started this journy 2 years ago. It was a frustrating one (lots of me hurrying to do stuff and then waiting), and it felt like hurry up and do this then wait right to when they wheeled me into the OR.
It's hard to believe that it's been 4 months since surgery, and 84 lbs lost. It's amazing how things have changed, and not just my size and what I can do. My highest weight was 348 lbs, and now I'm at 265 (I was this small about 10 years ago), and looking at my next milestone (240 what I was when I graduated High School). It's not my goal, but something it'll be something to celebrate.
Since surgery, I've been told my unit was being cut, and we would be re-assigned (which means we look for the job and do the work to get it). And I've successfully found a new position and started it last week. I'm still learning, but have found out that the position isn't as scary as I thought it would be. I'm going to like it here. And a lot of issues I had in my old spot don't exist here.
For those starting, it may be a frustrating wait, but it's worth it.
For those on Optifast, listen to the tips to make it better, I should have been here to listen as well, but even if you don't add anything to it, you will make it through this stage.
For those who are on your food stages, each one is short in the long run, and makes the next stage that much better.
Have a Happy Halloween everyone! (With our without candy ;0) )
I found your post to be reassuring and just what I needed right now. Thanks so much for being kind enough to share.
P.S. Congrats on the 84 lbs down. Amazing!!!
