What are you eating/doing today? (Monday)
It's so much fun meeting kindred spirits online.
Monica - I too am an old nurse from way back, and an alto in my local choir - love it!
Still in my (now 2-week) stall. Not worried though.
B - 1 slice toast, tea
S - Greek joghurt w fruit and muesli
L - turkey pepperette, hunka cheddar, 1 pear
S - protein bar, water
D - greek food, out (probably moussaka)
Then second-hand clothes shoping at Talize. Figure it'll be empty tonight, and they get their new shipments on Mondays.
I DESPERATELY need a new winter coat, but am transitioning from size 24 down to - 14 - 12?

Sorry, what/where is Talize?
As an aside, I got a GORGEOUS car length leather coat a couple of weeks ago from Value Village for $35. The thing must be worth about $300 I'm sure. Also, I got a really nice pea coat, black wool and very warm, for $19.99. Even if I were still shrinking, I don't think I'd mind paying those prices. haha
ETA: Nevermind, I looked it up! Is it good Gaby??

soprano, actually. I was an alto when i first joined the choir, but i was kind of a soprano wannabe. Now my last year in choir i made the jump to soprano. I'm having a bit of a hard time with the higher stuff (like F and up) i find that my jaw just cramps up and i can't quite get there... I took last year off of choir, because i didnt want to tuck in my shirt anymore during performances(which i know my WLS peeps would understand). Our conductor insisted that untucked blouses looked sloppy. ANYWAY.... so i'm back (and tucked in, happily!), and singing soprano. But that last year off was not good to my voice...

I was always a soprano. With age, and somehow WLS I think, my voice has lowered and I'm sure I'd be a better alto now. I love singing. :)

These days my singing is limited to the shower and the occasional "scary-aoke" on Friday nights. LOL
