Plastic Surgeon in Ottawa/Kingston area

Haven't been on here in forever.  I remember a time when this was my lifeline.  Life has been busy and I am able to be a lot more active.  I regrettfully have gained a little weight back by not following the rules and getting too ****y, but I am back at it and determined to live healthier. 
So my question is for those of you who have had plastic surgery or know of others.. who do we like in the Ottawa/Kingston area for plastic surgery.  I need to have a panni done.  Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome back. First thing I would suggest is that you get down to your ideal weight and stay there for awhile before you do Plastics. Otherwise you will never ge the results that you want.
Others on this board have gone to see Dr. Howard Silverman for Plastics.
If you want an OHIP covered Panniculectomy you need to be referred by your family physician.

I highly recommend Dr. Howard Silverman. He did a tummy tuck and lipo on me after the birth of my twins. He was fantastic. I had a huge "apron" after my twins were born and the surgery was about $5100. This was back in 2002.

Dr. Kim Meathrel out of hotel dieu in Kingston. She also has her own clinic ...u cosmetic.....but for the panni refer from gp to her out of hdh. I have seen her work and it is good.

Silverman doesn't work with OHIP. Never ever. I had full abdominoplasty with him last May - $8500 + tax +hospital charges. About the same price for boobs+arms.

In Ottawa there is a doc, that I can't remember the name, works with the Civic, did panni with OHIP on MountainMike. Try contacting Bev (dsFacts), she might be in contact with Mike or advise you on the doctor's name.

I'll send you an e-mail message tomorrow, will try to talk to someone who had hand plastics through OHIP.

There's Dr Nicholas Guay that works with OHIP in Ottawa out of the Civic but I only have negative things to say about him. I wouldn't let him operate on me even if he did it for free.
