Great to hear that things are moving along for you. If you don't get earlier appointments due to cancellations and end up at TWH on January 18th, maybe I can say "hi" to you in person since I'm having my surgery that day at 11am!
It is definitely worth it to inquire about cancellations because all of my appointments got moved up that way!

Brenda, I totally agree with you about learning so much from this forum! Congratulations on your appointments! You will do so well. I'm off to my next appointments in Guelph on December 12. I'm excited too! Yeah for us!!

i am so incredibly happy for you!!! Good for you to get your next two appointments. I'm not surprised that you didnt learn anything new. I remember feeling the same thing. I remember thinking that they should do a pretest, and if you pass, you can skip the class, or other classes too. I remember thinking, also, how woefully unprepared people were, how uninformed the questions were. There were two people that walked out of the session when the presenter told the group that they'd have to quit smoking. I felt badly for them, because that addiction is holding them back from a new life.

anyway, i'm so glad for you, Brenda. You deserve this so much.

There was a lady beside me who didn't have a computer???? who can live like that, lol. I said to the other women we were talking to "wow she's a real bumkin hey" lol they laughed. Of coarse I was braggin about our group here and how awesome you all are.

There were alot of people with questions and you knew they hadn't done much research. One of the men there had already stopped smoking for two weeks and asked if it was alright to use the patch for other aids to stop smoking, she said yes, but he was worried the the screening would still show the nicotine.

Thanks so much again for your well wishes and I'm holding you to saying that time will fly by now. lol
