He's a sweetie pie!! My daughter is also one of the main reasons to eventually have the surgery!!

yes, a very good reason for the surgery.... i too wanna be able to do more with my family, and my grandkids (3 of them).  There was a time, I could bike all over the city and walk everywhere.   Now I don't but i'm going to get that back again.............my grandson is in grade one this year

OMG he is adorable! Such a cutie! I'm sure you are already a fantastic Mom... but you'll probably feel like SuperMom when you are successful with your WLS... of all the reasons to choose this for yourself, I have to admit - he is the most handsome reason! Just look at those brown eyes!

I'm a good mom, but I know I could be better.. and I will be.
He was really worried when I told him I was going to he hospital, he has always thought of hospitals in a negative way, so I've been telling him they are there to help people and I'm going to get them to help me be healthy. He's a bit obsessed with healthy things right now LOL  So that made him happy.  

Your post has me in tears cuz I feel the same way!! We are actually having family over this weekend & I am having a chat with my sister In laws just in case I don't come back. I know I will & some people will think I'm being foolish. But I am a super planner. I just need to be sure people have our backs since I can't count on my family for anything. I look forward to the start of the journey when I get home. We've already started getting more active as a family with walking & such. My prize is good health for many years & doing Florida in October 2012 with limitless energy for the parks &.....SHOPPING cha Ching!!! Until then it's day by day starting with Opti on Monday. Just make sure you tell those dear to you how much u love them every day. Just wish I could do it without tears.

Oh Ruby - he is so cute! I have a 5 yr old grandson & I feel the same way as you do  - I want to be able to do things with him & not jus****ch from the sidelines.  I'm 100% sure that he already thinks that you are the very best mom in the whole wide world!!!!!!
