Tried the P28 Bread. Good product

Hi all,

A big thanks to the person who posted about the P28 bread.  I brought some home today and had a piece.  It toasted just fine, although not really dry for those of you who struggle with bread.  I had it with a bit of PB and with that and the bread combined, it was 17 grams of protein.  Hello, breakfast!!

I forgot to check out the rest of the nut. stats as I was just so excited about the protein number.  I am sure it is full of carbs (obviously), but I don;t care.  What a nice way to get in a minimum of 14 proteins per slice :)

Metro, but I had to ask where it was. It was on a seperate table, like where they put the baking, and not on the shelves with the bread. If you can't find it, ask.

I just read that this product is sold at Metro stores throughout Ontario - sounds like a very interesting product... and they have some really good ideas to make (like cinnamon toast yummy!)

Well I changed my meal plan today and went and got the bread.
I have no issues with bread, but I do have the sleeve.
Wow the pcs was big.
I cut it in half and made a sandwich (the only food I have missed).
I am full and it was fantastic!
When my sandwich was complete it was 190 cal, 5 grams fat, 3 grams sugar and 27 grams of protien.  (Holy Moly that is a great protien).

Hope I stay full!

Great!  I am gald you enjoyed it.  I agree that the slices are pretty darn big.  They keep me full for quite some time, but I am not sure how good it is to get near to that "full feeling".  Next time, I might try the bagel and see if that is different in any way.  1/2 a bagel for the same amount of protein as 1 slice of the bread.
