Stores for clothes larger than 4x?
If you ever come to Toronto to shop (I see that you could travel if need be), this is an amazing store:

I got an absolutely beautiful red formal dress at this store, but they have tons of casual clothes too, and in many larger sizes than 4X. I take about a 3x to 4x (more 4x these days), but they had a lot of clothes that are larger than what fit me.
What I love about the clothes there is that they fit all sorts of body sizes. I have no idea what kind of bust you have, but mine is quite large (DDD), and I find that at Addition-Elle, and even Penningtons, their clothes are so often made for large women with tiny breasts. I could never figure that out. But it meant that when the style was empire waists, the under-the-bust line always went across my chest instead of under it, and last year I went through the entire store filled with clothes that were my size but didn't fit and couldn't pick out one single top to wear because if the current season's style is something that isn't flattering to me, I'm out of luck since they make every freakin' top with the same feature!
I didn't have that problem at Maximum Woman. It's a great store. And it's a local boutique, so you get personalized service from the people who run the store and really know how to fit you. And the prices are comparable to Addition-Elle.
You can shop on their website, but their store has way more than you see on the website, so don't be put off if you don't see what you want there.
