Stores for clothes larger than 4x?

I'm wondering if anyone knows where to buy clothes at sizes higher than 4x.  I'm in Ottawa but could travel over the border if that would help. I was going to try Penningtons a couple of weeks ago but they were closed for renovation. It's becoming very difficult to dress for work (or life in general).   I appreciate any suggestions! Thanks!

The only one I know is Pennington's.  I would think there is more than one store in Ottawa.

I've found that Pennington's was always so limited in the number of 5X and 6X clothing they had. It's like they only carried 1 in each style. Drove me nuts!

When I was 6X I would shop at Ulla Popken in the US. I did my shopping online.

Yes, there is more than one Pennington's in Ottawa....even one in Gatineau that I have heard carries more variety.  (Since I am awaiting surgery I haven't bothered to check that claim out - it came from one of my staff).

Another option would be to come to the Ottawa Support Group meetings on Tuesday evenings.  There is always a clothing exchange (totally free to pick up clothes off the tables).  The next meeting will be in January and Terry45 usually posts on OH about the time/location, etc.

 Fashion Bug in the States is a great one for 4x plus sizes.  Reasonably priced and you can even get a credit card there as well!  Fashion Bug is a sister store of Lane Bryant and Catherines in the states.  You can even shop online.

I believe addition-elle only goes to 4X

I really like this web site:   www.onestopplus.com.  The prices are really reasonable and they have online reviews of each product so it helps to hear other people's perspectives.  Some people even send pics of themselves wearing the goods in with their review.  The only thing that bothers me is their models are not plus size so things look differently on us than they do on the models.
Otherwise, I have always had decent luck with Pennington's.  Addition Elle tends to only go up to 3 or 4x.
