Walk a mile in someone elses shoes....

Nah....this week I made a mile in my own shoes without stopping to catch my breath or thinking good God how much further do I have to go!  I love my RNY and as it is one month today since my surgery I am celebrating victory.

The pain is almost gone, just a little on my left side at the end of the day.
I can cross my legs and not have to hold them in place.
Moved the seat up in my car.
Bought new pants in size 18 and looks like I should have bought a 16 as they are fairly loose.
Have a ton of energy.
Get my water, protien and vitamins in everyday-not always easy but you gotta do the work to get the results.
People are starting to notice, give positive feed back and encouragement.

Highest weight 297 (Jan 1, 2011)
Surgical consent weight 286 (Oct 12, 2011) -11
Surgery day weight 268 (Nov 4, 2011) -29
Current weight 245 (Dec 3, 2011) -52

Have a great weekend,

Tracey

the nice thing about walking a mile in someone else's shoes is that when you're done, you're a mile away from them, and you still have their shoes!!

seriously, awesome NSVs, (and scale v's too!!!)

Congrats, and keep it up!! (or down, i guess lol)

lol. that is what all my friends say about me. If they can't find something positive about someone, they ask me. lol and there is always something. Even if "its so quiet once they leave".

hehehe

I'm the same way.  "Well, she really has a talent of speaking her mind and owning her opinions though..."  there's always *something* positive.  Even if it's "she has nice hair.".  LOL
