My surgeon has actually looked into such bariatric vitamins and his take on it is they are just trying to peddle their expensive products to people that really don't need them. A good multivitamin and other vitamins as needed are plenty good enough. I've never used bariatric vitamins other tha na few samples, and have had zero deficiencies in 6 years. There is no way in hell that all bariatric patients are in a one size fits all category when it comes to vitamins yet these supposed specialized suppliers say we all need the same. I call bull**** on it.
