Finally....My 1 Year Post-Op Blog

you can do this. Take inspiration from Marny's success. Realize that you're worth making the right choices. You deserve a healthy life.  You will make this, I know you will.

You CAN do this, and you will.  I am glad you were able to take something away from what I wrote.  That was a big part of the goal in writing it.  I remember being where you are right now.  I honestly can't count the number of times I have stalled over the course of the year.  It really felt like I spent more time standing still than moving my way down the scale, but in the end, all of the little losses along the way add up.  Before you know it, you'll be looking at pictures and honestly not recognizing the person you used to be.  I wish you many great successes.  Don;t doubt yourself, just keep your eyes fixed ahead of you to where you want to be next year and call out for help when you need it.  Good luck!!

Wow. What an amazing post. What an amazing year! Congrats on your success and thank you for writing and for being an inspiration to me. I will be four weeks post-op on Wednesday so I'm really just beginning this journey. It really helps to see the success of such wonderful people who have gone before me!

what an inspiration your blog is.  It lets me know that the end goal is attainable even though some times it doesn't seem like it is and I have those days where I wonder why I did this.  But after reading your post I remember why I did this and I know that I can make it.  Thank you so much I needed to hear something like this at this time, it has helped me more than you could ever know.  Congratulations on your success!

This is a wonderful blog and certainly echos many common themes from my experience too.  The battle will never end - I realize this now too; but as you say it is a much better battle than the old one!
