I had my surgery on the 1st of Dec and should have had it within that first week, but now almost a month out and it's still a no show.

yes, weight loss can really mess up your hormones. Just to be on the safe side, tho, if it's at all possible that you might be pregnant, get tested.

I got mine the day after surgery (early) and have not gotten it this month at all...im about 1 week late...I chalked it up to weightloss, and the fact that I just changed birth control at the beginning of November.

Nope no chance of pregnancy. Hubby has asked a couple times "so when can it happen?", but I'm still a bit leary of that.. I even still have  an outer insicion that hasn't healed properly yet so I won't even consider it til at least that's all good LOL He'll live

Mine should have arrived the week before surgery, but arrived the week after surgery.  Mind you I am waiting for peri-menopause to kick in!

The stress of the surgery post op made mine come 2 weeks early.

I hadn't had a period in three years because I have a Mirena and three weeks post surgery I got it and lasted 9 days, I'm hoping it was a one time event or I am back to the doc for a new one lol!

I have a Mirena too and hadn't had a period in more than 2 years.  Since my surgery 6 months ago I have 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off every month.  It has gotten so bad.  I'm hoping that it will even out again once the weight loss slows down but even with the IUD my cycle has gone berzerk!  Hang in there, it's bound to happen with the hormone shift.

Yep mine was not my friend.  I started the day before my surgery Nov 1st and then it was 10 days late the next time - and I had the worse cramps I've ever had. Damn timing and Damn hormones!!

It is normal for your period to become messed up when your body has gone through a huge change. The stress of the surgery on yourself and your body as well as the weight loss can trigger your cycle to change. I would still suggest to consult with your doctor but it is normal.
I would also like to add (I dont know if your surgeon told you) but they suggest not to become pregnant at least 2 or 3 years after the surgery.
I hope this was helpful!
