18 Months, before and after

18 Months today My choice/ What I’ve learned 1 I’ve learned that drinking lots and lots of water makes your skin look nicer, rather than the dried up old hag I used to be. My choice to look good. 2 I’ve learned taking lots of vitamins on a daily basis makes you feel really, really good, helps your nails grow and is good for your skin. My choice to feel good. 3 I’ve learned exercising 3 times a week, keeps my back strong and my knees flexible and reduces stress and makes me feel good. My choice to be stronger. 4 I’ve learned that just because I indulge in the occasional treats doesn’t mean I’m going to hell. 5 I’ve learned to say NO, and not always be the “yes" person I used to be because I wanted to fit in and be liked by everybody. 6 I’ve learned if I feel like dancing or humming in the mall stores and I stand out doing it, it was my choice not my sizes choice. 7 Oh and 1, 2, 3, are also rules of WLS, and they fit into my daily routine religiously. 8 I’ve also learned to still be afraid of weight gain to help keep me honest and yes it might be only 5lbs but get rid of it now not later. 9. I’ve also learned to accept the pat on the back for a job well done and not give all the credit to surgery. I had to fight to get it off, and keep it off, it was my choice to make it work.
and if it's MY CHOICE, then I buy into it easier. So 18 months ago today I chose to get off the sidelines and jump into the game. And I’m in first place. My only regret is not doing it sooner but then I say “I wasn’t ready sooner". LIFE IS GOOD. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE. J(dance)
All great choices! You look fabulous! Great job and you're a wonderful role model for us all.
