I am not a scarf girl but boy are these beautiful!  I have a coworker that would just love them. What would be the shipping cost to Ottawa, and do you possibly have one or could you make one in shades of deep purple and another coordinating colour?

April, your affinity for scarves might change! When i was obese, i wouldnt wear scarves just for the heck of it, i found them confining, and felt like they just made my neck feel even bigger than it was. I love them now.

Hi Monica

I was that way too. Never wore scarves or necklaces even. Now I have two necklaces I always wear, but am liking scarves more

Take care

I was wearing a necklace the other day, and had to do it up at the smallest part, so it would hang in the right place!! crazy!!

I'm getting more in the habit of wearing scarves (outside of work, they're kind of frowned upon in maximum security lol)

I am not sure it has anything with that Monica as I have always had this HUGE issue with anything touching my neck when I am outside of the home.  QUIT LAUGHING lol...seriously though...I really do get heebie jeebies when anything, hair, necklaces, etc touch my neck...and heaven forbid a person do it. I went and got a haircut last night and I scared the crap out of the poor shampooist. He was massaging my scalp, totally fine, lower on the head, no problem, but then his hands went to my neck...I let a whoop out of me and raised off the chair.  The poor freaking guy thought he hurt me. Imagine trying to explain this..by the time my hair was done we both had a good laugh about it.

I swear I was strangled in a former life lol.

BUT I am FORCING myself to make changes. Last night I found two necklaces that I loved so much that I bought them and I plan on forcing myself to wear them.

Boy this scarf topic sure took on a whole new life lol

that happens, topic wise, i mean, they take on a life of their own.

I totally get the neck thing! I bet a past life regression therapist would have a hey day with you!

Did you have that issue even before you were heavy? I"m wondering if it is a 'feel like you can't breathe' thing, and that might go away when your neck gets tinier.

I honestly don't recall when it started Monica. I know it wasn't like that around the age of 8 because I had longer hair then. I believe I might have been 9 or 10 when I first had my hair cut short and it has been that way since. Don't recall the neck thing back then tho but maybe I just didn't recognize it.  And yes I am sure a past life regression therapist would have a ball with me lol
