And that's the major reason we have this surgery - to be healthy and non-dependent on medications to keep us alive. Looking good and feeling even better are a bonus! Congratulations.

Had RNY surgery July 22/11, St. Joe's Hamilton, with the awesome Dr. Scott Gmora. Had abdominoplasty August 2/13, Scarborough, with equally awesome Dr. Michael Kreidstein.

Attaboy Harold,

Very nice to hear that. I went to my doctor today to drop some info off and while I was there she put the cuff on and tested me out. I then let her know I was off the BP meds as I was fine in the hospital as well. She said we'll keep an eye on it but that I was fine to not take the meds. Feels good.
