Surgery Date Changed AGAIN!!!

What a rollercoaster of a ride the past two days. Yesterday I got a call from Dr. Anvari's Office to change my surgery date from Feb. 7 to Feb. 3. I was okay with that as I got it done sooner as the waiting is stressing me out. Today was my regular scheduled pre-op assessment and it went well.. in and out in two hours at SJH.

Well, on the way home I got a call from Dr. Anvari's office again asking if they can change my surgery date once more. I figured it would going to be moved back to the orginal date or later.. but NO.. they changed me to this Thursday at 8am, Feb. 2.

Well, at least I it is happening and I will be out of the hospital on the weekend and on my way home. As the day creeps closer I am feeling a little stressed and unsure but I think that is normal. Lucky for me I have an awesome women supporting me the entire way.. I love you Amy. I can't wait to get this out of the way and get married next spring.

Thanks everyone for all the support. I have been a member for awhile but only started to post more recently. I can't believe the support that everyone shares on this forum. It's huge steps that nobody is taking alone.

All the best for Thur Patrick. My date is coming end of the month and it feels surreal...I oscillate between excitement and doubt...I do think this is normal too.

lol, maybe you should show up at the hospital tomorrow and when they ask you why you're there just tell them you figured they were about to call. lol

good luck with your surgery patrick, its awesome you have someone at home that supports you through this,i agree the people on here are amazing, many times they have helped me and i'm sure will continue to help me and guide me through this life changing event, i agree with Brenda, prehaps you should just show up at the hospital tomorrow, just in case...lol see ya on the bench!!!!
