No problem!  That's good you could figure out something that would work for you. I tried one of each flavour the first day and realized I made a major mistake bringing home vanilla. I agree, very yucky just by itself. I planned it out that I had one vanilla a day so I wasn't left with all vanilla at the end and that helped. Have you also tried crystal light mixed in with the vanilla? It's not too bad!

I am a newbie too. My Surgery is booked for Feb 27th at St Mikes. Getting a little nervous, more about the optifast than the surgery...lol

All the best to you on Feb 7th.

Hi Cammie,
For me I worried about Opti for no reason. I was tired for the first week or so and had a constant mild hunger but not bad. I try to distract myself- such as when people are eating at work and I have no where to hide! I drink tea, and broth when I need it and eat jello when I really want chew something!! Experiment with different things to add in the beginning, lots of ice, Sf syrups etc. I have a few favourites and I drink them all the time. At work though I just mix up chocolate with cold water- after a while I just wanted to drink it and get it over with!!

Thanks for your reply to my post!

Wow Kristen, you are amazing. 23 days of opticrap? You are one strong woman. I only had 2 weeks and didn't mind the chocolate but the vanilla yeuch The next week will just fly by and it is all good from then on.

Good luck, and welcome to the Ontario forum. Great bunch of people here, very supportive and caring with lots of valuable information.

Keep us posted as to how you are doing.
