Yesterday I noticed that right above the small incision above my belly button started to develop a red patch. It's not that big but this evening I noticed small red bumps around this patch. I feel fine, no fever etc. Anyone have an idea of what this might be? I am almost two weeks out.

I had a bit of a reaction to the steri-strips or the other clear plastic that covered them.  However, I would suggest that you take a pen and mark the outlines of the red patch, also note the date and time that you did this.  If it starts getting bigger and you need to go to the hospital, you will have an idea and timeline of what was occurring.

If you want medical advice, call teleheath and speak with someone there.

Hopefully this is just a skin reaction.

I had that too.  I just ignored it and it went away.  Just make sure you watch for spreading redness and a warm feeling.
