I had a mild burn on my arm form a hot pot and used bio-oil while it was healing and for a few weeks after. The scar is barely visible now. I've put it on my surgery scars but haven't been consistent enough for it to do any good yet. Gotta remember to put it on everyday.

As for getting Bio-oil (or any oily stain for that matter) out of clothes, pour a small amount of full-strength Lestoil (an all purpose household cleaner available at Canadian Tire or Wal Mart) on the stain and let it sit for an hour. then wash normally. It should remove the oil stain, even stains that have been laundered before. Lestoil stinks, but it sure does work - I use it on everything.
