Ouch!

A few years ago I had an oven door close on my arm and leave a 2 inch wide burn right across my forearm. It was extremely painful for a few days, and it took months for the redness to finally leave my skin, but it in the end it didn't scar. Just be careful that it doesn't get infected.

OWWWWW!!!! I did that years ago too and I still have a scar. I was left with a gigantic pouch after my twins were born so I had a tummy tuck in 2002 and have lost a lot of the superficial feeling in the skin on my abdomen. So one day I was cooking on this old stove and the top used to get really hot along the edge. I guess my tummy was touching the stove and I didn't notice until the burn had reached a certain "depth" and all of the sudden I could really feel it. That thing hurt like hell and took forver to heal!
