I'm 20 days post op and am thrilled to report that for the past seven days I have walked a total of....

                    35 KM!!!!

Yup, you heard correctly... I've been walking 5 Km/day for the past week - OUTSIDE!!

The weather has been wonderful. My dogs have fallen in love with me all over again. I feel energized.

Above all else, I'm PROUD of myself. (And it's been a long time since I felt that way.)

Thanks for sharing in my absolute joy.

That is AWESOME!!! 5K a day is a HUGE amount to walk! You definitely should be proud of yourself.

My dogs love me now more post-op too but that's because whatever I dont finish, they get to eat. LOL! Gotta love dogs!

That's amazing, Ms. HH. You SHOULD be very proud of yourself! Keep on keeping track of your distance, seeing a number like that is incredibly motivating!

Holy smokes, good for you.  I had a lot of pain near my incision site and at my waist and could not do
much walking so early out.

You could join Erica's " 100km in 100 days" on facebook if you are looking for some friendly support .  It is a closed group.  We are at day 32 I think and you are already on top of it. I am doing miles instead of km and am behind.  Time to get my butt in gear.
