Question about revision surgery (gastric band to bypass). Hamilton or Toronto?

There is a woman that went from band to RNY on this board not long ago and she went through St. Joe's Hamilton so they do revisions for sure.  At times they don't consider band to something else a revision since we had no cutting of our actual stomach like the other surgeries do.  Definitely get a referral sent to the registry by your family doc.

 Thank you so much Tracey.  When I read this reply 2 days ago I was very happy to hear St. Joseph's in Hamilton does do revisions, and you were right.  After some telephone tag I spoke with someone at the bariatric clinic of St. Joe's and she confirmed they do revision surgeries.  Now I just have to get the ball rolling and get my doctor to send a referral to the registry.

i'm on Optifast. Things are going well but I'm still nervous about the surgery very excited don't get me wrong just worried about the pain involved and knowing what I can eat and what I can't eat after surgery
