Bodybugg v3

Hi all,
I just commited to buy a bodybugg to monitor calories on ebay. I know it will help me as I wait for surgery since I'm struggling so much to fight off the "last meal" head games. Might as well have the half rack of ribs, since it will be a long time after surgery before I could contemplate a nibble...etc.

Anyways, my question is about post operation. Does anyone else use this tool in combination with the bypass tool? Is it something I will find to be of more use much later after surgery?

Thanks and have a great day,
Heather

I had to look up what this is. I think it could be a useful tool, its helpful to know what's going in, and what kind of energy you're putting out.

I considered a buying one but went with a heart rate monitor. I have a watch/HRM combo. I love it!!!! I'm lost at the gym without it. For keeping track of calories & nutrients I use My Fitness Pal.

I bought the BodyMedia armband, which is the same as the Body Bugg....it's made by the same company, and I absolutely love mine! I wear it/use it every day...I use mine as a pedometer, plus measures my calories burned and tracks my exercise for the day.... definitely one of my favourite tools post surgery...

I also have the body media version and have it on 24/7. Am uploading it right now. I bought a Garmin heart rate monitor that will work with it, you upload to the Garmin site and then it will interface with the body media site. I find it's food logging much more user friendly than a lot of other food journaling sites I have tried. I understand body bugg is very similar so I think you will enjoy it.
