Hi Pat,

I did appreciate your response and am sure you do not intentionally mis-represent yourself as an authority. My remarks were more out of concern for you. I do honestly believe you to be a very knowledgeable, well read individual who wants nothing but the very best for those your respond to. I also believe that when you have completed your studies and are a practitioner the passion and knowledge you exhibit now will translate nicely into your chosen field of expertise. However, I also believe that it would be in your best interest to qualify your responses with the statement that at this point you are not a licensed health care provider, and that your responses are more a dissemination of information as opposed to actual medical advice. . .

I apologize if you feel I "over-scrutinize" your responses. Truth be told I pay little attention to what you are posting these days.

Wow, her response was brutal, don' t take it personal.

Since you know about medical issues, can you tell me about the VSG? After reading quite abit, I want to go with the VSG, I have osteoporosis (onset), arthritis in knees and 3 previous abdominal surgeries, so they may recommend it anyway. Are leaks common in VSG? What are pros and cons? I see the surgeon in 2 weeks, and hoping for a July surgery.

. I hope this is resolved quickly and painlessly. Hopefully it isnt a leak but something much easier to deal with. You mentioned a "pelvic pouch", what are you meaning? My first thought was your uterus? Anyhow sorry to hear you are feeling lousy.
