Headaches and Fatigue
Does anyone have any good remedies for headaches? I've been having them for several days. Not extreme pain, but enough that I've taken Tylonal which hasn't helped. I'm also tired a lot, and not sure if it's just not getting a good night's sleep for a while (I'm a Mom of 2 boys, who were sick right after easter) or if it's not getting enough of some vitamin/mineral. Nothing came back at my 9 month appt for deficiancies.
Anyone been like this, or have suggestions on how to relieve the headaches. I'm at work, so taking a nap isn't an option, neither is staying home to sleep, as I have a 4 year old at home that doesn't usually nap.

Check your fluid intake - if you're getting a little low, it can cause a headache. I'd be tired if I were a mom of 2 little boys who were sick too. lol
Tylenol just doesn't work sometimes, does it. You *could* try a Tylenol #1 - you get it over the counter at the pharmacy.

I may have to look at Tylenol #1s, I used to take Advil for pain, but now I only have it on hand for my son, who won't take anything else.

Since I am not a medical professional...all I could offer is that possibly some of your iron may be lacking and if you are feeling tired, do you keep track of your protein intake (that's very important)...that could also result in fatigue and probably headaches.
bottom line if you haven't had your blood panel done within the last 2 months start there
prior to surgery 323lbs....4 years post-op maintaining between 108- 114 lb loss.
life is AMAZING when you continue on the right path~!. Use your surgeons gift to the fullest~!

Sometimes I wake up with a bit of a headache. I have come to realize that it is because I sweat in the night and dehydrate (and weigh less first thing in the morning). I drink my water and the headache goes away.
Do you have seasonal alergies? They are bad this year and can cause headaches. I take a Clariten (non drowsey) every day to help with the symptoms.
Hope you feel better soon.

I didn't have sleep apnea, when I was tested I was on my back, and slept fine (well as fine as you can in a hospital bed ;0) ). May try some allergy meds when I get home, see if that helps. Too many causes of headaches, and the sun won't help me tonight either. Probably the only person who likes clouds.
