I have PB every now and then. I like it on apple slices. The dietician at Humber said not to eat it because of the fat content but Im not afraid of fats so I eat it. Im not a believer that fat made me fat. I buy the sugarfree one.

OH GAWD YES LOL

Why do you think you aren't allowed peanut butter?
It's not something you should eat at every meal LOL, but you can eat it
Some people buy the natural stuff, me, I like my Kraft. Don't eat it often, but I love it

Probably because of the fat and sugar they don't want you to have it early out, but I don't see a problem when you start eating regular food.
That is my 2 cents LOL

Take care

Guelph has suggested peanut butter with a 1/4 banana.  Therefore I take for granted that eating peanut butter is acceptable.  Always in moderation of course.

When I had surgery I wasn't eating "real" food til 6 weeks out so I didn't try it before then, but whenever you are eating "real" food again I would say try a bit and see how it goes

It's funny the small things we miss LOL

When I started my puree/soft food stage (2 weeks out)....I would have a tbsp in a chocolate Premier Shake with half a banana....ohhhh the taste was so satifying!

If you really like the taste of PB and want to mix it in in shakes then the PB2 powder is wonderful for that.  All the taste and none of the fat.
