Another one for the bucket list (pics)

After 18 weeks of training, we finally did it.  My hubby and I ran the Mississauga Half Marathon!  I have such respect for all those people who split off to take the full marathon route!  21k just about killed me, so I have no idea how they do it!!  We had a great time.  It was warm, sunny, and just an all around beautiful day.  I think I am now content to hang up my shoes for a bit and try something new.  I was thinking of swimming lanes, because it would likely tone my arms and MAYBE help with the old batwings??  I'd also love to try Crossfit, or kick boxing.  Who knows?  All I do know, is that it won't be running for the next little bit.  :)

Smooches!  We have such a great event here in Mississauga.  I met a bunch of people from Toronto and east of the city while running, and when I asked them why they weren't doing the Toronto Marathon today, they said it was because Mississauga has such a beautiful course.  Pretty cheeky of T.O. to move their marathon to the same day, especially since the Mississauga has been around for so long, but wonderful turn out anyways.  There were so many people, I couldn't see the front or the back of the line!  The number of peole who came out from their houses to cheer was nice too.  Many people on Mississauga Road had their stereos playing, were all dressed up, yelling, and wearing costumes.  Such a great vibe!
