Day 14 of 18 on OF

Hey peeps, I'm doing really great on Optifast.  I have lost 10 lbs!! woo hooo.
The last two nights I had a dream that I ate a mouthful of food by mistake and I was so mad!! lol  Was so happy when I woke up and realized it was a dream lol

 Good to hear that you are surviving Opti!  I actually grew to like it, although only the chocolate shakes.  I never found the vanilla palatable, no matter what I mixed them with.  Looks like you are really close to surgery....less than a week away!  How are you feeling about it?  Your day is just around the corner!

Yay!! i was just looking at my calendar yesterday, and noticed your name there on Monday!!!  Yay!!! so exciting!

are you getting nervous? just excited? happy? weirded out? all normal... so pumped for this, Brenda!!!

I'm very excited and once in a while a wave hits me and I'm nervous, but just for a second.  But yesterday I had a sad moment thinking it was going to be really hard not having my "old foods", but Pam sent me a message to wish me well and she said this would ease up.
I hope you don't mind Mon, but I gave my mom your email address to send you an update.  Garry (hubby) will phone her from the hospital and she is to email several people for me.

Yay!!! I totally get that, waves of nervous. I was the same way, mostly ok and ready to rock n roll, but occasionally, those Holy crow whta am i doing!!!

Perfectly fine that you gave your mom my email. I get emails on my phone, so i'll know as soon as she sends it, and update everyone on here!

good stuff! It gives us other pre ops hope that we can survive it, too!

I didn't have a problem with OF from the start, maybe because I heard so many struggles of people doing it, it made me more determined, I'm not sure.  I have a really sensitive gag reflex, if I  just think something is yucky it kicks in, but never had any of that with optifast.
