Hamilton/Burlington WLS Support Meeting - NO May meeting

Hello All, There will not be a meeting this month.  We will resume next month on June 30th.  See you  then!  I will post closer to the date.

What are the particulars of the group? I'm new to the site and am interested in finding out more about the support group. (location, time etc?) I'm in Hamilton.

Hi Jen,  We generally meet on the last Saturday of each month.  The meetings are held at 10:00 a.m. until noon in the Police Services Building on Southampton Blvd. in Burlington.  Basically take the Walkers Line exit on the QEW and go north.  It is about 1 block south of Highway #5,(Dundas St)  It is easy to find.

We meet and generally discuss a different topic each month which will be posted on OH.  The group is small for now.  We started up in September of last year and always welcome new faces.  The group consists of people who have had Roux en Y, DS and Sleeve procedures so we have a good cross section of people to ask questions of and share experiences with.  There are people who are 5 years out, less than a year and people who are pre-op.

Come out and join us in June!  New members are always welcomed!
