I am almost a year out, and I am starting to thing about cosmetic surgery as my body did not bounce back at all lol  I can deal with my stomach and boobs.. those can be covered.. but now that the summer is here.. the batwings have to go!!!

I got an estimate from a doctor in Newmarket... $5661 + HST

Does that sound right?  Has anyone else had it done in the GTA?  Maybe you could let me know what you paid or who your doctor was?

Im not sure what the going rate is for something like this lol

Any info would be appriceiated!

Amy, a friend of mine is two years out, was thinking that she'd need her arms done about a year out, but now is happy with the way they've responded to time and exercise.

Don't spend the money just yet, A year is nothing, in terms of skin. I'm not saying that they'll spring back to where you were as a teenager, but give it some more time.

Think of the scar that you'll have, i'm sure you've seen pictures.

just my 2cents.

The price is similar to what friends of mine have paid but one thing to remember if you were to get it done this summer, you won't be going sleeveless at all this summer as you can't expose the incision/scars to the sun this early out.  If I did my arms, I'd do them late fall.

I had my arms (Bracioplasty) done at the same time as my breast reduction in May 2010.
I paid somewhere around $5500. My left arm scar is barely visible now while the right arm did not heal quite as nicely and may need a touch up. The recovery was not the greatest for me as it is almost impossible to not move your arms. I am so glad I did it though. I don't care if anyone sees my scars they are like battle wounds to me.
