Took my bandages off
I just am blown away how we are created that in a week and a bit's time how these cuts are mended closed!!
I just have to keep in mind that the inside is not near to being as mended. But just amazing how quickly we can heal.
I am feeling awesome, last week while in pain and everything takes more time, I was wondering what the heck I did to myself. One short week later and feeling so much better, I have hope again. lol

Great to hear how well you are doing. It is amazing how every week gets better. You're brave. I kept my steri strips on way past the time they should have come off because i was scared to take them off. But I agree, the human body is an amazing thing! I think it takes 3 months for the insides to fully heal, but I'm not sure.

I was recently telling a friend who's considering the surgery about what to expect, and I used you as an example of a positive attitude.
And look what it's getting you - instead of whining over how your tummy hurts, you are marvelling at how quicly you're healing!
