I think my husband is trying to kill me!

....by inducing hypothermia with the A/C in our house!!!  I turn it down.... he comes right along behind me and turns it back up again!  lol

I feel like I have to have 2 sets of clothes ready at all times.  When I am inside I walk around with a sweater, pants, socks- the whole 9 yards!  Then when I have to go out for something, I've got to strip down and change to shorts !  What a switch.  I used to be the one to blast the air condintioning, and sleep with the fan blowing on me all night long.  What the heck!

I recently found a window fan in the basement and put that in my room and on LOW it feels like I have AC in my room and I'm COLD! Cant imagine what you poor things are going through! BUT...such a nice change from being hot and sweaty all the time, isn't it?

Yes....much nice than being too hot all the time.  When you're hot, there are only so many layers to shed.  When you're cold, there are many more solutions.  A happy medium would be nice though :)

As cold as I was a few months after surgery last year, it's much worse this year. I get chilled to the bone. I couldn't swim in the 80 degree temp pool yesterday, because I wasn't hot enough. My kids are confused. I did go in after I did a lot of yardwork on Saturday, but within minutes my teeth were chattering. Funny things about surgery!

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

That explains it, we have a backyard in ground pool and I swam in that sucker every day last year with it being 70 degrees.  Loved the cool down.  My husband wants to kill me because I have the pool heater cranked up to 80 (feeling a little guilty, not really); I just can't get into the pool It's too cold less than 80, just thought the thermometer wasn't working, but I don't have the personal insulation anymore.  Other NSV is I have had a fan on my desk at work for 4 years on every day when I got into work and turned off only when I left.  Year to date I haven't had the fan on one day.  Never even thought about the weight loss.

Will take a kayaking trip summer 2012, freedom

LMAO too true - last summer - i swear it was soo cold in the rec room you could water down on the floor let it freeze and then skate on it - this year ..totally different - temperature is at least 6 degrees warmer than last years setting - soo much nice on the pocketbook

Try throwing in hot flashes boosted by the hormone dumping ~ hot weather ~ and weight loss.  I am either so overheated I radiate or so cold I am wrapping myself in flannel.

The problem is with the hot flashes I sweat-in places I did not even know I had then when the flash goes I am cold in wet clothes.  Oh My its an interesting journey!!
