Ok.... I tried these tonight with pasta sauce, they were very good.  The reason I got them in the first place is because of the protien they said they had, but could the package be wrong?

Brenda, I looked on their webstie and it said the same thing. Be careful eating gnochi's though they are very feeling. It doesn't feel it while you're eating but once they settle it will hit you. I'm from an Italian town and my hubby is Italian

Sometimes you just put one foot in front of the other, even if you don't know where you're going.

Where is the protein coming from? I make gnocchi for my dad and just use potatoes & flour.

Is this a frozen dinner type of food?

No it's not frozen, it is on a shelf.  No Frills has it on sale for $1 so I thought it would be a good time to try it.  But I can't help think the package is wrong, even checking it online.  The other kind of gnocchi are way less......

It really depends on the ingredients they used. It could very well be 28g. Some people make gnocchi with ricotta and eggs so that'll boost the protein content.

Gnocchi!  I love gnocchi!  I gotta get me some high protein gnocchi!  I hope this nutritional info is correct, Brenda...

BTW, congratulations on your surgery and your success so far.

when in doubt read the ingredients... if eggs and cheese are up at the top then I would bet its right.. if it says water flour and potatoes.. i would second guess it

There's something wrong with the math:  32 grams of carbs times 4 calories per gram, plus 28 grams of protein times 4 calories per gram would be way over 144 calories total...It would be 240 not counting the 1 gram of fat which I believe is 9 calories...

So 144 minus 9 = 135
135 divided by 4 = 33.75

I'm wondering if it's a misprint and it should read 32 grams of carbs and 1.8 grams of protein, because that would fit the math, and all of my (now sadly disappointed) expectations...

Still, for a moment I dreamed of eating gnocchi again...
