Oh Marny I really had to laugh. No, not at your pain and suffering but at the way your word things and this ...

In order to succeed, your desire for success should be greater than your fear of failure.

Aww you poor girl!! But on the good side it's nice to know the pouch works the same after
over a year out..

So sorry you had to go through this. I didn't chew well enough last night, but forunately
not to the extent that happened to you.

Thank you for the warning and sharing this with us.

And that is wonderful about your running and swimming!! You rock!!

Weeellll...don't offer me too much sympathy.  I'm the one who ate the darned things in the first place.  I think a good slap on the wrists is in order.  Or maybe the aftermath was more than enough punishment, come to think of it.  hahah.

PS. I don't think they even got to my pouch...that's how stuck they were.   Like a little squishy donut dam, it was hard to even swallow saliva.  Honestly, it was a little scary to tell you the truth.  I contemplated calling the clinic to ask if it was possible to surgically remove donut from one's stoma, since I never thought it would come out.  Haha.  So relieved it did.

I'm Glad your feeling better Marny, and even though I have the sleeve I too still suffer from the same issue (not chewing and eating too fast)...who would know that it's that tuff! Big Hug!

Life is full of challenges...we take things one step at a time...
