Monday Weigh-In
I am not sure this will help, but here it goes.
So I am guessing you were a size 24 at your highest and now what 12,or 10. Looking I am guessing fantastic. Focus on where you have come from to where you are now. I just can;t wait to be 14 and never go into a fat store again. Maybe only weight once every 2wks.
You are doing super!

I just wanted to say that I love reading this post every Monday. It's so exciting to see such losses, isn't it? I miss that euphoria at times. You're all doing great!

It's funny - some other vets and I have talked about this at length actually. It's almost like a "uhhh... so that's it?? What now??" situation at times. When you're losing you feel awesome, so motivated, loving to see the scale going down, loving every size change, etc etc etc. But then...... goal. YAY!! Euphoria with that for a while. THEN comes real life. No one remembers you fat anymore. No one is throwing you constant compliments and encouragement anymore. LIfe. Goes. On. (apparently, who knew?)
Soooo... you find something to keep you motivated to maintain what you've achieved. For me, personally, it's the support group that I run and offering support, motivation and friendship on this forum. People ask why I'm still here after over 6 years. Nathalie, it keeps ME honest and on track. It makes ME accountable. It motivates ME to monitor myself and ensure I'm following through. It gives ME pleasure, passion, pride, love.... so many positives to know that I attempted to help others who are where I have been.
And I will NEVER forget where I have been, where I came from and who I was and still am. It's a wonderful part of who I am and what I've overcome.

Well, I for one, am very glad you are still here not only because you are an inspiration but of all your knowledge that we haven't gone through yet. It's like you prepare me going through the next step, weird but I understand myself...lol...
Exactly like you just posted, I was afraid of the part where I "simply" need to maintain and lose that "yes, lost again".
I have to try and plan my next flight to TO to be at the same time of one of your Cawfee night so I can meet all of you!
Thanks for sticking around!
