How often can we do the 5dpt?  I mean the frequency once a year, every 6 months, once a month.  Any advice.

I don't think there are any rules on how often you can do it, but just use common sense so that you get your proper nutrition in.

If you don't mind, can you please tell me the purpose of the 5dpt?
I remember seeing people post while doing it but never actually got the "why" part of it.

It is to get you back on track when carbs take over and also to make sure your pouch is workimg.  I'm on day 3 today and have lost 5 pounds so far.  I needed to do it as I had been in a stall for a few months and started to eat to many carbs.
