NSVs! (Lengthy)Update and best of all....vanilla premier shakes!
So I rarely create posts, so lets re-cap. I had RNY on May 18th (Dr. Gmora, Hamilton, fabulous).
Minimal constipation episodes and one pretty nasty "stuck" episode on BBQ chicken (didnt chew enough). Otherwise doing swimmingly!
Speaking of Swimmingly! Speaking of- loving my aquafit, 2k walks and 10min yoga video at home (has seriously made the most impact - in practicing mindfulness in life, balance, awareness of breath and stretching etc).
NSV- love length swimming and always add a lap at end of aquafit- had a man in my way say "wow you came up the pool quick" (he saw me from the start and didn't move".
NSV- granny panties starting to shift down on work days, lol! Scrubs still suuuck tho cuz of my figure and can't be bothered to alter them.
NSV- made some good connections at St. Joes monthly support group for post oppers - same age, same stage, same weight- meant to be, friends for life.
Biggest NSV-I don't stress anymore about being a continental shift worker and having to work out regardless. I have simply let go and let live.. I work out hard on days when I'm off and otherwise my job is active in its own way(nurse) on days I work.
As you see w/ ticker- I"m very pleased w/ my efforts - have been keeping monthly photo journal on profile. My head has yet to appreciate the full nature of changes. Sizes are still all over the map- in the states I'm a 1-2x (which reflects more on the US I think than moi) b/c here I am 3x still- much happier than 4x.
Hubby and I out to states yesterday (with our online printed "one day pass") Got into SAM's club AND chcked with the lady - they don't limit visits by adress or anything, I can keep going back where they have my LIQUID GOLD!
Love my premier chocolate shakes but it gets a little old day and day out - sooooo found the vanilla, they taste like sweet milk, liquid vanilla frosting (not sweet) and love the milk like texture so not thick, frothy, smoothie like. Also, stocked up on vitamins there and will start taking Biotin 5mg I found.
Going to get my hair cut this am- just needing a change not thining yet (tho too thin already lol) and I"m putting it out there to the universe- cuz I'm chicken.............For my birthday in November regardless of size I'm getting my first tat!!!! Gotta old me too it cuz I also promised "50lbs down but that came too fast for me to get the nerve up", lol!

Thank you for your post and congrats on all your great news. Love these stories so much. Question: what is your LIQUID GOLD? and did you find the vanilla premier shake in the states. I have my sugery on Sept. 4th at St. Joe's in Toronto and getting prepared. I have only seen chocolate in the Barrie Costco but would like to get my hands on the vanilla as I am not a huge chocolate lover. and: can you shop at SAM's club with a Costco membership?, and re vitamins: are there liquid ones available at Sams.

GardeningGal! "Liquid Gold" was my way of describing the Vanilla Premier Shakes- after being on chocolate daily here! You can go on premiernutrition.com (?) - and get strawberry too but you will never find it in any store - trust me!
For Sam's, it is owned by Walmart and so it has nothing to do with Costco card - google "one day pass Sams 2012" and that will allow you in store- as canadians we can buy memberships but if you choose not to then its 10% tacked onto your order. I do not recall seeing liquid specifically but the US in general has all different combinations of meds/quantity etc. more than Canada
