I have 3mth appt on the 7th at St Joe's.

Should I cancel ?
Should I ask for my blood work over the phone ?
Should I go with face mask and all ?

I did not research the c.diff thing look for any input Please and thanks in advance.

I was there last week...just washed hands in and out. I am back on the 9th for pre-op. It's a personal decision but I am moving forward don't want to delay my process.

My surgeon appt is Aug 8 @ St. Joes--I am not cancelling unless they call me!! But seriously--I will be slathering the antibacterial goo on my way in, during, and on my way out. If they wanted people to not be there, you would have been told.

Also, you can check here for updates to the outbreak. There is no ban on attending the hospital, simply asking people to practice good hygiene before, during and after your visit.

Would just suggest good hand washing, If you have a week immune system then you really need to be careful but a healthy individual should be good with hand washing.
It is antibiotics that make you more susceptable as antibiotics kill off the healthy bacteria as well allowing the c diff to grow and take over.
