Good morning everyone

2yrs post-op and maintaining

Back to the grind today, getting ready for work.
I am starting to low-carb today.

:o midnight snack- 1/2 caramilk bar
B1- 1 scrambled egg
B2- 1/2c all bran cereal and 100g strawberry "on the bottom" greek yoguart
S- 1/3c nuts
L- 60g cheese and 15 olives
S- 1c protein shake
D- 100g chicken and something
S- not too sure if I will have anything, but will edit if I do....

Totals: calories- 1150; protein- 88.8; carbs- 76; fibre- 15
all liquids and vitamins in

starting the low carb today too!! and toward my goal of running at least 20 k a week. 4.1k into it.

18 months, 19lbs to goal.

Prerun - atkins day break protein bar
Breakfast - protein shake
S - slider hamburger patty
L - another one, with some veggies
S - 1/2 protein shake
D - pork loin roast and veggies
S - 1/2 protein shake

Long work day today.....chance to get lots done as I am heading north Thursday for some golf....Have fun all of you with kids going back to school!


B - 2 large mugs of coffee
      premier protein shake

S - Oikos greek yogurt - cherry

L - 9 oz shrimp with a bit of sauce- will eat periodically thru the day....not all 9 oz at once

D - 1.5 cups of chili - homemade spicy beef with beans

S - 2 ham and cheese roll ups - ( low fat ham and cheese with a pickle in between)

FITDAY stats for the above menu are:   Calories = 922;  Fat = 21 grams;  Carbs = 66.1 grams and Protein = 117 grams

All water....3 litres - plus more decaf coffee and tea....and all vits

Ended up changing pretty much my whole menu yesterday and not for the better. Ate far too many calories.

b. scrambled egg
s. baby bel
l. low cal baked beans
s. peanut butter, 2 melba toast
d. steak (I think, husband cooking)
s. probably a protein shake

Cal. 685, Protein 67
Going swimming at lunch to do lanes.

Way to go Monica, though you chose a heck of a miserable weather day to start your running.

Man, I hate going back to work after a long weekend.

 B - bowl of Cheerios w 1/2 banana, large coffee
 S - cottage cheese (1%) w SF applesauce and muesli
 L - leftover pasta w salmon
 S - 1 apple, 21 g cheddar, mint tea
 D - nachos w beef & cheese

16 months post-op and holding at 20 lbs under goal.

It has pored all day. It is dark and the street lights are on. I think there must be some kind of irony that I just went out into the rain to go swimming!

Afternoon all,

Kind of a ****ty weekend, and now this gorgeous rainstorm! YAY! Could it GET any better?

RNY 6+ years post-op

B - coffee with milk x 2, water (had a meeting AND my guts feel like they're trying to rearrange themselves!)
S - nada
L - 1/2 grilled ham and cheese sandwich, pickle.  Did not sit well.
S - bleah
D - chicken caesar salad

B - 1 slice toast with 1 tbsp light cream cheese
B 2 - Coffee x 3 skim milk
S - light cheese (aprox 2 oz) + crackers soda 6
L- 1 cup veg home made soup with beans and spinach
S- 1 peach
D - pork chop & salad

Life is full of challenges...we take things one step at a time...
