Quick question, truly not of big importance lol

I am wondering if any "post-op'ers" found that their ring size changed? I am currently wearing a 5.5 in ring size....

The reason for my question?.. well I am in a committed relationship and there has been much talk about marriage ( ahhh1!!!!) and well... I am wondering if I should tell my bf to hold off another year or so until I have had surgery, lost weight and stabalized .... OR... if he can go ahead and get me a big ol' rock ( lol just kidding!!

) I don't think he would be doing so anytime before the holidays, maybe even after the holidays...

( i already do have small fingers~!! it's just about the smallest thing on me... well that and my boobs

None of my rings from before fit me any more. I didn't have small fingers though had fat ones proportional to the rest of me.

Hi Chanelle Wow..Well he might have to wait a year. I got married this summer and I had to downsize my wedding ring before the wedding and now that I have it on, I have to have it downsize again. So a year would be great.

I lost my engagement ring about 2 months post op, it was so loose it just fell off and I had one of the biggest panic attacks of my life that I couldn't even talk to tell him, I had to text him to let him know what happened but luckily for me I found it in the laundry basket about 6hrs later and now I wear a fake on my finger and the real deal on my necklace until it's time to size it, my advice would wait for the real deal but if the time comes before you have lost the weight you want to lose you can always get a fake for the time being.

I wish I had small boobs, if I keep losing at this pace they will be the biggest thing on me and I will become top heavy instead of bottom heavy.

Just three monthes in I can now wear a ring on my ring finger (had to wear on my pinky finger), no problem, first time since getting the ring in the 80's! So yeah, they will probably shrink but downsizing a ring unless its encrusted with gems isn't usually a problem, its going up that becomes problematic (strict layman when it comes to this but have a spouse and daughter who love jewlery bunches)! When's the party? LOL

YAY!!! So exciting!!!
It's hard to say but I would think the size might change. However, that being said, most jewelers include re-sizing with the purchase. My rings no longer fit..... just sayin'

PS. I'm bringing a big bag of clothes.... range of sizes....
