3 Months Out!

Yesterday I was officially 3 months out. I am doing great and am so glad I made this decision to get my life back. I am down 65 lbs so far! Not every day is perfect, but I feel good, am making good decision and probably taking the best care of myself I ever have.

I hit 2 big milestones this week - I officially no longer qualify for surgery (my BMI is 38) and I am under 250 lbs. Getting under 250 was a big deal to me, it was the first big step I wanted to take and it feels really good to be here.

So glad I have this awesome community! I have learned so much and could not have done this without all the information here

Sounds like you're doing really well, Lindsay! Feels great, doesn't it.

Had RNY surgery July 22/11, St. Joe's Hamilton, with the awesome Dr. Scott Gmora. Had abdominoplasty August 2/13, Scarborough, with equally awesome Dr. Michael Kreidstein.
