 I'm just lucky with the police. It just that the usual police officer gets suspicious when signals are mixed, like smelling it but no signs of intoxication. It's that things don't add up that can set them off. 

It's from the low carb diet in Ketosis state that does it. You will probably register .01-.02 on a breathalizer. Depending on the officer, that could get you all kinds of attention and perhaps even a blood test. Imagine trying to sort it all out with your insurance agent once they think you've been popped for a dui. 

Not to get anyone worried, just something to keep in mind.

I never thought about police checks...it's Oktoberfest here in Kitchener so the cops are out in full force. I better be careful!

if you explain to them that you have not been drinking but they can "smell" it, ask them for a breathalizer. You will not blow over.
