Morning all :)

Well I have to say that day 2 was MUCH easier than day 1, thank gawd!  And I am so excited to be able to eat today - woot!  Here's something amusing - I've lost 4 pounds since Monday.   Sure it's water weight, but I don't care - losing again is fun!

Don't forget that today is soft proteins - canned fish or chicken or turkey, eggs, soft fish, etc.  You can still have things from days 1&2 as well, but should really be focused on the soft protein choices.  Don't forget you only have 15 minutes to eat whatever you're having!

Eats for today:

B - coffee with milk x 2, protein shake
S - large egg bite (yay! I love these!)
L - 5 oz tuna with a small pickle chopped up in it and a little 1/2 fat mayo
S - large egg bite (or some tuna if I didn't have time to fini****)
D - ummm... egg bite. lol

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

HI Karen,

Your's didn't show up when I started, so deleted mine.

Cheated last night, I admit it.  My in-laws were over, so they and my family had KFC for supper.  So instead of having an issue by having soup, I had some canned meat.  One meal early.

B - poached eggs w/ tbsp salsa
L - tuna salad
D - eggs
S - not sure yet.  Maybe a protein shake

At home today, kinda.  Taking my 4 year old to Little Peoples, then taking the tires out of storage for my Mom, going to the bank, then taking my 8 year old to a psychologist.  So much for my day off.

Have a good one!
Cathy

Nope, we're not.  Just wish some people would accept our imperfections a bit better and not make us feel like we completely f*** up.

Sorry, this whine isn't about WLS,  Got another lecture on how to raise my kids last night.  My oldest has anxiety, anger/frustration and learning issues.  So we're not raising him right.  Not getting help with the problem, that we should be disciplining him when he's bad, we don't have enough structure, we're not helping him enough, we aren't asking what we should be doing differently, etc. etc.  Yah, I don't care about my kids, I sit here and let everything go.  I don't pray about it evey night, I don't end up in tears because I don't know what else to do.  I want my kid to be an outcast.  I want him to have problems in school.

Sorry, my size isn't the only way I get hurt.

*sigh*

In my previous life (like a year ago. lol) for the past 25 years I had worked as a child/youth/family counsellor. I so hear where you're coming from, Cathy.  Many times it seems so convenient to simply "blame the parents".  I sincerely hope that you find a professional who will support your efforts and value your committment to your children. If you ever want to bounce your thoughts off of someone, please don't hesitate to PM me, okay?  xo

Oh Cathy that is dreadful. No one has the right to make judgements on  you unless they have walked a mile in you shoes. I am sure you are a great Mom. I hope you find support. Of course we are always hear for you. Big Hugs
