Question re. our forum
I post, but lurk more...lots of posts give me giggles, especially on days when I really need them. I blog on my profile a bit, vent more on that then on here...I LOVE THIS FORUM!! I am so happy to have found it and realize that there are TONS of "me's" just in my province alone! My life is so busy these days, taking care of my kids, working full time, being a taxi, soccer coach, accountant, maid, even taking care of our fur babies (cat, dog, and hamster) I look forward to getting on here and being able to communicate with others in the same position! Thank you so much for making all welcome!

Moving on doesn't mean you forget about things. It just means you have to accept what happened and continue LIVING
I'm glad you get some giggles - I sure do. Once you're around for a while, this place starts to feel like a second family in a way. :)

thanks for asking that question, Karen. I have often wondered the same thing.
for me, in the beginning of my journey, this forum was a lifesaver. I finally felt like i belonged somewhere.
I keep wanting to "give back" like people gave to me. So many people here know exactly what i mean when i'm having bad days, and so many people cheer me on when i'm having a great day!

Yep, me too Monica. And giving back is exactly why I'm still here.

As a newbie I think I am a bit shy but I hope to participate more on this forum as I get closer to my surgery date sometime next year. I enjoy reading what everyone posts and I have learned a lot. I love that the group is so supportive of each other and especially newbies :) Keep up the great chats!
Cheers,
K
